I awoke the next morning and groggily rubbed my eyes. I tried to remember everything that had happened the night before. It all came flooding back to me. I remembered going to dinner with Vicky, her spraining her ankle, us coming back to her apartment, the initial kiss, the trip to the bedroom, and finally her big surprise. And it was a big surprise. I glanced around the room I was in. The walls were a comfortable beige color, with white furniture that complimented it very well. The bed he was in had beige sheets and a white comforter. I was in the bed alone, however, and wondered where Vicky went. I swung my legs out of the bed and sat there, rubbing my eyes for a moment. While my eyes were closed, I felt the bed next to me sink slightly, indicating that someone else had sat beside me. "Morning sunshine," Vicky's voice rang out.
"Good morning," I said tiredly, still wishing I could go back to sleep, "How'd you sleep?"
"Very well, thank you," she said with a grin, "there's breakfast in the kitchen if you want some."
The smell of bacon and eggs flooded my nostrils. I smiled, kissed her on the cheek and stood up. I then realized I was still naked, and bent down to pick up my briefs. I pulled them on and turned to her, still sitting on the bed. Her eyes ran up and down my slim, muscular body and she gave that coy little smile again. "How's your ankle?" I asked.
"It feels a lot better today," she said with a smile "I don't even have a limp."
"That's certainly good news," I said, "Let's go get some breakfast."
We walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table. I looked hungrily at the breakfast she had made. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice sat on the table. I served myself and dug in, not realizing until I sat down how hungry I was. We ate in a sort of awkward silence, not really knowing what to say to one another. It was her that broke the ice. "So what does this all mean?" she asked worriedly.
